Connect Planist to your AI assistant

Planist ships a hosted MCP server. Connect it once and Claude — or any AI assistant that speaks MCP — can read and create your notes, tasks and focus stats, acting as you, from wherever you already work.

What the Planist MCP server can do

Reads your workspace

Notes, tasks, tags, calendar agenda and focus stats — your assistant answers from your real data, not guesses.

Writes as you

Creates notes, files tasks, updates statuses and adds comments — authenticated by a personal API key that acts only as you.

Works with any MCP client

Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any client that speaks remote MCP (Streamable HTTP). One endpoint, one header.

One command to connect

Create an API key in Settings → API Keys, then run this in your terminal — that's the whole setup.

terminal
claude mcp add --transport http planist https://planistai.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer plnst_YOUR_KEY"

Replace plnst_YOUR_KEY with the key you copied. Any remote-MCP client works — point it at https://planistai.com/api/mcp.

Then just ask

Your assistant answers from your real Planist data — and writes back to it.

Summarize my week

Pulls your notes, completed tasks and focus sessions into one digest — no tab switching.

Create tasks from this meeting note

Paste a messy meeting note and your assistant files real, prioritized tasks in Planist.

How much did I focus today?

Reads your focus stats and answers with actual numbers — minutes, sessions, streaks.

Give your AI a memory of your plans

Sign up free, create an API key, and your assistant is managing notes and tasks in minutes.
